Privacy Policy
Last updated July 7, 2026
This policy explains what SAM collects and why.
What we collect
- Your email address — to create your account and sign you in.
- Sign-in identifiers — if you use Google sign-in, your Google account ID and basic profile (name, email, avatar) as provided by Google.
- Your questions and their outcomes — the questions you submit and the verdict SAM returns, used to operate the service, provide your history, produce anonymous aggregate statistics (e.g. popular topics), and improve the tool.
- Credit and payment records — your credit balance and a record of purchases. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party advertising. We do not publish your individual questions with your identity attached; any public statistics are aggregated and anonymized.
Processors we use
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Anthropic and OpenAI — the language and embedding models that generate analysis. Your question text is sent to these providers to produce an answer.
- Turso / Vercel — database and hosting infrastructure.
- Resend — delivery of sign-in emails.
Retention and your choices
We keep account and usage records while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing us; we will delete it except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons. Aggregated, anonymized statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.
