A free study, verse by verse. Text: World English Bible. Notes come from the Hebrew. How to read a study
What happens?
Yahweh tells Moses to raise up the tabernacle on the first day of the first month, to set everything in its place, to anoint it, and to wash, dress and anoint Aaron and his sons. In the second year, on the first day of the first month, Moses raises up the tabernacle and sets everything in place, as Yahweh commanded. Then the cloud covers the Tent of Meeting and Yahweh's glory fills the tabernacle, and the Israelites set out on their journeys only when the cloud is taken up from over the tabernacle.
Who is speaking?
